Grinding processes

Grinding is an erosive manufacturing process for machining functional surfaces with abrasives. The cutting motion is either performed by a rotating grinding wheel or by an oscillating finishing stone. The feed motion can be conducted by the grinding wheel or the workpiece depending on the machine concept and grinding process.
